$1 Fish Tacos

You get what you pay for. Every Tuesday, Rubio's has their $1 fish tacos whose rubbery-wrapped, fried dookie concoction can be semi-satisfying on a cold and rainy SF day. However...don't let them win on their marketing ploy. You need to buy ONLY the tacos with a nice, tall, self served ice water with lime. Otherwise they get you! From a $3.25, 3 taco meal, its easy to get carried away with a soda, chips or added sour cream. Next thing you know, you're looking at a hefty $10 meal. Or, you bring your oblivious (but beautiful), other half and get a "Ooh, chips and guac...I'll order that too..."
